In this way, we will approach Teresa as a woman, as a voracious reader and a professional writer. And especially to her peculiar literary style, always free, and not subject to the rules; her original creative process and the modernity of the dialogue that she establishes between words and things (Verba et Res). In fact, the global work of Teresa of Avila is built in a kind of transitive recirculation between language, mystical experience and everyday life. We will point out in this regard the surprising parallels and confluences of her with Cervantes. |
