Throughout Latin America and the United States, Yoruba spiritual traditions have taken root and developed into flourishing religions in the 21st century. This article surveys the role of Yoruba civilization as the source of these traditions, the historic forms in which the traditions were constructed in the Americas, their basic beliefs and practices, and issues in their future development. |
