Description
Summary:For an endless number of generations, Christians were certain that Christianity was the only true religion of salvation because it dared to bring God into history and to state that then He had performed acts of salvation. This firm belief has generated as a result a discourse of exclusivity. However, the physical proximity of the great religions and our present knowledge and awareness of them, do they not oblige us to abandon this exclusivist discourse? Shouldn’t the Christian theology of religions, starting from the "immanent relativities" of Christianity, give way to a language of relativity? In this case, how then to preserve the singularity of Christianity as the only religion of salvation? These are the questions the author answers in this article.
