| Summary: | The article analyses the role of Christian theology in contemporary society. After outlining some of the most characteristic features of the emerging forms of socialization, the author proposes the need for cultural mediation in the communication of the Gospel. Next, he calls for a necessary dialogue between theology and culture in the context of higher education. In the way of synthesis, the study ends by presenting the role of the Centres of Higher Theological Education, according to the recommendations of Pope Francis’ Veritatis Gaudium. |
