| Summary: | Gregory of Nissa’s Against Eunomius can be analyzed as a paradigmatic work of the comparison between theology and philosophy and thus effective also in highlighting the potential and the limitations of other systems for theology, as in for example Complexity Theory. Such a theory lends itself to the need to contextualize every theological statement in an horizon of relation (of place, o time, of person). At the same time however, complexity cannot demand, neither in a theoretical nor in a practical sense, to be the ultimate key to understanding the investigated reality, be it human or divine. Il Contro Eunomio di Gregorio di Nissa può essere analizzato quale opera paradigmatica per il confronto tra teologia e filosofia e quindi propizio anche all’evidenziazione delle potenzialità e dei limiti di altri sistemi per la teologia, come ad esempio la teoria della complessità. Tale teoria viene incontro all’esigenza di contestualizzare ogni enunciato teologico in un orizzonte di relazioni (di luoghi, di tempi, di persone). Nello stesso tempo, però, la complessità non può pretendere né in senso teorico né in senso pratico di essere la cifra ultima della realtà indagata, sia umana sia divina. |
