Eine Hochzeit gab es unter Chefredakteur Kai Diekmann (2001-2017). Er räumte prominenten Geistlichen Platz im Blatt ein, verehrte Papst Benedikt und gab eine "Volksbibel" heraus. Schon distanzierter ließ sein Nachfolger als Chefredakteur, Julian Reichelt (2017-2021), berichten, vor allem über Skandale der katholischen Kirche. Eine respektierte Sonderstellung nahm stets das Judentum in der Berichterstattung von "Bild" ein. Das Bild vom Islam ist eher negativ konnotiert. | ||
