The four subject group headings under which the books are listed are: (1) mathematics, (2) physics and chemistry, (3) biology and anthropology, and (4) astronomy, meteorology, and earth sciences. The different types of books are listed according to academic grade: textbooks for primary and secondary schools and universities; advanced books on specific research subjects; also listed are books on scientific topics for general readership, as well as books that explore connections between science, philosophy, and theology.
