| Summary: | This essay investigates the passage, Lk 8,43-48, which recounts the miraculous healing of a woman suffering from a uterine haemorrhage. The study focuses on the importance of Jesus’ human body as the instrument transmitting salvific power. However, this has only superficial similarities with the wonders of the magi and thaumaturges which were widespread in the society of that time. In fact, through contact with Jesus’ body which, by contrast with the theios aner, preserves the normal human condition, the woman, drawn to him by faith, experiences not only the healing of her own body – and, consequently, her reintegration into the community to which she belongs –, but also a salvation which envelops her completely and introduces her to communion with Jesus. Il lavoro indaga il brano di Lc 8,43-48 che narra di una guarigione prodigiosa di una donna che soffriva di emorragia uterina. Lo studio si focalizza sull’importanza del corpo umano di Gesù come strumento di trasmissione della forza salvifica che, tuttavia, ha solo delle superficiali somiglianze con i prodigi di maghi e taumaturghi diffusi nella società di quel tempo. Infatti, mediante il contatto con il corpo di Gesù che, a differenza del theios aner, conserva la normale condizione umana, la donna, spinta a lui dalla fede, fa esperienza non solo della guarigione del proprio corpo – e conseguentemente della sua reintegrazione nella comunità di appartenenza –, ma anche di una salvezza che la investe completamente e la introduce alla comunione con Gesù. |
