Description
Summary:The suspicion of objectifying reification that weighs on the intent of naming "God" reaches, at root, the representational temptation, which reduces existence to mere objectification of reality: not even the human being exists like any other object in the world. The question of the naming of "God" must be rethought in relation to the economy of his naming ("the name is an event"), therefore in the context of his historical appearances and the act of his naming, in which the freedom of the subject is engagée. The subjective-personal act of naming has a decisive importance in the assertive scope of the content. As for the resources for thinking about the language of naming, a comparison is developed with the conceptual elaboration of Descartes and Spinoza and with the mystical tradition. (English)
