Description
Summary:The preaching of John the Baptist is considerably changed by the inclusion of the Sondergut-tradition (3:10-14) by Luke. The judgement of John's preaching is toned down and Luke's socio-economical interest is communicated. People should share, not exploit one another and accept social outcasts. This ethic integrates with the merciful attitude which Luke communicates in the rest of the Gospel towards all kinds of suffering.
