Summary:In this article about "Christology" in the Sayings Gospel Q it is argued that Jesus is not a messianic figure in Q, but the Judge with a mission (Son of Man). As Son of God Jesus knows the will of God. Jesus is God's wisdom envoy. The follower who confesses Jesus as Son of Man, Judge and Son of God is ready for his coming. For an investigation of the Christology in the Sayings Gospel Q it was necessary to first give an overview of the tradition history of Q.
