Summary: | This fourth installment of Read-Heimerdinger and Rius-Camps' comparison between the textual tradition of Acts as found in Codex Bezae (and related manuscripts) and Codex Alexandrinus (and related manuscripts) concludes the series. Since the end of the Acts of Codex Bezae has been lost from 22:29 onwards, the authors utilized manuscripts with a known affinity to the text of Codex Bezae to complete the commentary. This choice should be commended, as the more rounded end product makes for a useful reference work with regard to the whole of Acts and its divided manuscript tradition. |
