Description
Summary:Since the Greek of the NT in Dutch-speaking countries does not receive as much scholarly attention as it does, for instance, in the Anglo-Saxon world, the publication of this grammar should not be left unnoticed. Moreover, whereas most newly published grammars of NT Greek are introductory textbooks, Nieuwtestamentisch Grieks is primarily intended for students who are familiar with either classical or Koine Greek. By supplying grammatical theory with numerous examples taken from the Greek NT, Paul Hensels - senior lecturer at Tilburg School of Catholic Theology - aims to provide them not only with a reference work to re-active their knowledge of Greek but also with teaching aids to practice their translation skills (cf. 5).
