Description
Summary:The aim of this study is twofold: firstly it analyzes the way in which Ulrich Luz in his Theologische Hermeneutik des Neuen Testaments discuss the hermeneutical argumentation of some orthodox biblical scholars (Breck, Stylianopoulos and Panagopulos) and secondly it tries to summarize the main aspects of an orthodox biblical hermeneutic, by pointing out the main profile of the Bible as a theological book, the distinction between the experiences behind the biblical text and the text itself and the importance of actualization, updating or re-contextualization of the experiences described through the texts for the Christians of every generation.
