| 總結: | Thomas Aquinas borrows the medieval notion of dominium when reflecting on power and property. This term has two very different meanings according to whether it is applied to persons or things. In the first case, it is used to refer either to political power exercised in the context of the city, or to domestic power in a family setting. In the second case, it is used to refer to the ownership of things, which can either be communal or ‘proper’ ownership (hence ‘property’). Thomas Aquinas carries out a methodical, and occasionally surprising, analysis of dominium over persons and things, defining its nature, its basis and its forms. RésuméThomas d’Aquin recourt à la notion médiévale de dominium pour penser le pouvoir et la propriété. Ce terme a deux sens très différents selon qu’il s’applique aux personnes ou aux choses. Dans le premier cas, il s’agit soit du pouvoir politique dans le cadre de la cité, soit du pouvoir domestique dans le cadre de la famille. Dans le deuxième cas, il s’agit de la possession des choses, qui peut être commune ou propre (on parle alors de propriété). Thomas d’Aquin analyse, d’une manière méthodique et parfois surprenante, le dominium sur les personnes et sur les choses, en précisant sa nature, son fondement et ses formes. |
