| Summary: | This article compares the nature of the Absolute in the philosophies of Hegel and Bergson. It considers the relations and the rifts which arise between a dialectical and speculative logic and an intuitive conceptuality, in the apprehension of an Absolute which both philosophers conceive of as a flux immanent within reality. The proximity between them is revealed through the characterization of the Absolute as impetus (élan). A very significant rift appears, however, in the way each of them describes the Absolute - and consequently in the way in which the Absolute itself articulates its exterior expression. RésuméCet article confronte la nature de l’absolu chez Hegel et chez Bergson. Il étudie les parentés et les ruptures qui apparaissent entre une logique dialectique et spéculative et une pensée intuitive, dans leur appréhension d’un absolu pensé par tous deux comme un flux immanent au réel. On découvre leur proximité quant à la caractérisation de l’absolu comme élan. Apparaît une rupture très significative quant à la façon de l’exprimer - et par là, quant à la manière dont l’absolu scande lui-même son extériorisation. |
