| Summary: | Dans le contexte actuel de la mondialisation interculturelle, on aborde ici la question d'une signifiance universelle possible de la figure religieuse de Jésus. En prenant acte tout d'abord des limites qui affectent le discours dogmatique d'une christologie polarisée sur la seule figure de l'homme-Dieu. En rappelant ensuite quelques acquis majeurs d'une démarche plus critique, qui renvoie à la finitude de son inscription socio-historique le Rabbi de Nazareth. En cherchant finalement le sens décisif de Jésus dans la provocation toujours actuelle de son témoignage prophétique. Au cœur de notre monde, l'universalité sensée relèverait moins d'une totalisation théologique que d'une attestation existentielle qui troue l'histoire en la portant au-delà d'elle-même. The issue here is the possibility of a universal significance of the religious figure of Jesus. Are first taken into consideration the limits of dogmatic language of a christology founded on the sole figure of the man-God. Followed by certain major gains of a more critical research that bring the Rabbi of Nazareth back to the finitude of his socio-historical setting Finally, what is the decisive meaning of Jesus in the provocations of his prophetic witness that resound for our own day. At the core of our world, universality that would make sense would be a case not so much of theological totalitarism as of existential attestation ripping history open by carrying it over and beyond itself. |
