| Summary: | Cette note prend pour thème de réflexion la primauté de l'esprit connaissant en tant que subjectivité constituante. Elle n'a d'autre dessein que de décrire, citations à l'appui, les phases du mouvement d'abstraction qui, commencé avec Descartes, puis repris par Kant, Hegel, Husserl et qu'on observe aussi chez des physiciens comme Heisenberg, Schrödinger et d'Espagnat, prend aujourd'hui une ampleur inégalée puisqu'il oblige la connaissance scientifique à se repenser en pensant ses racines. On assiste ainsi à un ralliement de chercheurs éminents au réalisme de l'intelligible, à l'identification du savoir et de son objet, à la mathématisation d'un univers qui répond jusque dans ses structures les plus profondes aux exigences de ce couple inséparable que forment la logique et la mathématique. On peut dire alors que l'esprit se retrouve enfin après être sorti du puits de certitude naïve où une science positive l'avait tenu longtemps enfermé. The theme of reflection of this note is the primacy of the conscious spirit as a subjective element. It has no other aim than to describe, with the help of quotations, the phases of the movement of abstraction which began with Descartes, was taken over by Kant, Hegel and Husserl, and can also be observed in the works of physicians such as Heisenberg, Schrödinger and d'Espagnat. Today this movement takes on unrivalled importance since it obliges scientific knowlege to rethink itself by taking its roots into consideration. Thus one sees a rallying of eminent researchers around the realism of the intelligible, the identification of knowledge and of its object, and around a mathématisation of a universe which responds, in its deepest structures, to the demands of the inseparable couple formed by logic and mathematics. So one may say that the spirit finally rediscovers itself, after coming out of the well of naïve certainty where a positive science has long kept it prisoner. |
