This text is a commentary of a programmatic article in which Emmanuel Levinas exposes the key concepts and the main lines of his first opus magnum Totality and infinity. To this end it shows 1) how Levinas' thought develops itself from a fundamental philosophical question, and 2) how it has transformed creatively certain sources from which it took its inspiration. |
