Insertion de schémas de sermons ou de distinctiones dans les commentaires (Hugues de Saint-Cher, Constantin d'Orviéto, Guillaume de Luxi, Pierre de Scala, Nicolas de Gorran), séries de collationes parallèles aux commentaires (Jean de Galles, Ps. Bonaventure), reprises de fragments de commentaires dans les sermons (Guillaume Peyraud, Thomas Agni de Lentini), découpages de commentaires (Catena aurea de S. Thomas) regroupés selon l'usage liturgique, témoignent de la visée pastorale de l'enseignement biblique médiéval. The teaching of scripture in the thirteenth century was for the greater part a preparation for sacred preaching. The insertion of schémas, of sermons or of 'distinctiones' in the commentaries (Hugh of Saint Cher, Constantine of Orvieto, William of Luxi, Peter of Scala, Nicholas of Gorran), the series of 'collationes' parallel to the commentaries (John of Wales, Pseudo-Bonaventure), the recovery of fragments of commentaries in the sermons (William Peyraud, Thomas Agni of Lentini), cuttings of commentaries ('Catena aurea' of Saint Thomas Aquinas), fragmented according to Liturgical use, they witness to the vision of biblical teaching in medieval times. |
