Lambot a reconstitué l'Office primitif liégeois du Corpus Christi (1946) et publié le premier Office romain de la fête (1942), lequel contient déjà certains éléments de l'Office « Sacerdos in aeternum » en usage jusqu'à nos jours. Le présent article établit que « Sacerdos in aeternum » a été promulgué par la Bulle « Transiturus » (1264) et diffusé avec celle-ci. Il amorce ensuite la comparaison de l'Office avec la doctrine eucharistique de S. Thomas. La conclusion, encore provisoire, est que S. Thomas est très probablement l'auteur des deux Offices romains successifs. C. Lambot reconstructed the primitive Corpus Christi Office of Liège (1946) and published the first Roman Office of the feast (1942), containing some elements of "Sacerdos in aeternum" in use to the present day. The present article demonstrates that "Sacerdos in aeternum" was promulgated by the Bull "Transiturus" (1264) and the two were circulated together. As well it begins a study of the relationship between the Office and the theology of S. Thomas. The conclusion, albeit provisional, is that S. Thomas is most probably the author of both Roman Offices. |
