Description
Summary:The analysis of organizational behavior has evolved to a point where it is possible to distinguish between and evaluate differing theoretical perspectives. The organization can be viewed as either a normative structure or analyzed as a system. The use of the structural approach to organizational analysis is criticized and various arguments are presented for the utility of the systemic model. A perspective for the analysis of the parish as a social system is suggested which would utilize a set of three related models for parish behavior so as to distinguish the differential influences which control parish behavior.
