Either it promotes a reductive vision of revelation, or it is interpreted at the cost of a certain confusion of revelation with tradition. Nevertheless, the formula of closure, which should only apply analogically, indirectly allows us to specify a deeper conception of revelation. | ||

Née dans le contexte de la lutte contre le modernisme, cette formule commande implicitement une conception de la révélation. Son usage actuel n’est donc pas sans risque. Soit, en effet, elle promeut une vision réductrice de la révélation, soit elle est interprétée au prix d’une certaine confusion de la révélation avec la tradition. Néanmoins, la formule de la clôture, ne devant s’appliquer qu’analogiquement, nous permet indirectement de préciser une conception plus profonde de la révélation | ||
