Описание
Итог:It is commonly accepted that fundamentalism has been gaining ground and adherents, while other religious persuasions have lost members. This belief is based on church membership statistics, accounts of televangelists and the electronic church in general, and reports of the rise of the new religious right. A consideration of the church membership statistics themselves, evidence on changes in the audience of the electronic church and about the public acceptance of the new religious right, and the analysis of various survey data on religious affiliation, beliefs, and behaviors question the conclusion that fundamentalism has been growing.
