| Summary: | Diante da realidade de secularização, muito se reflete a respeito da inserção da Igreja Católica nessa realidade contemporânea. O filósofo italiano Gianni Vattimo, tendo como base os pressupostos filosóficos de Nietzsche e Heidegger bem como sua própria experiência religiosa, aborda a secularização como uma outra face do cristianismo, tendo a encarnação do Verbo como ponto fulcral nesta compreensão. Com isso, ao conceituar o pensamento fraco, Vattimo mostra a necessidade da superação da violência causada pela metafísica e como a superação da mesma suscita uma transformação ético-social com base na caridade cristã. Com isso, objetiva-se, neste trabalho, analisar as obras de Vattimo Crer que se crê e Depois da cristandade, além de comentadores, buscando a percepção do autor a respeito do processo de secularização, a retomada da religiosidade e o papel hodierno do cristianismo. Given the reality of Christianity secularization, it is much reflected about the insertion of the Catholic Church within this contemporary reality. The Italian philosopher Gianni Vattimo, based on the philosophical presuppositions of Nietzsche and Heidegger, as well as on his own religious experience, approaches secularization as another face of Christianity, having the incarnation of the Word as a central point in this understanding. Based on this, conceptualizing weak thinking, Vattimo shows the need to overcome the violence caused by metaphysics and how overcoming raises a social-ethical transformation based on Christian charity. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyse the works of Vattimo Belief and After Christianity. Besides the commentators, we were seeking to analyze the author’s perception of the secularization process, the resumption of religiosity, and the current role of Christianity. |
