Description
Summary:Questioning the alleged reference to the tripartite division of the Hebrew Bible in 4QMMT, this study investigates the Qumran community's understanding of canon by examining biblical book titles and collections. It suggests that, in the context of the admonitory section, line 10 of section C refers to "the book of Moses, the prophetical books and (the deeds of) David".
