| Summary: | The article evaluates how and on which conditions the issue of divorce can be seen reflected in CD 4:20-5:2 and 11QT 57:17-18. The guiding principle of the investigation is the methodological notion that before letting 11QT illuminate the supposedly more obscure CD text, both passages should first be considered in themselves and within the context of each document. The point of contention is that when dealt with in this order, the texts reveal to be quite irrelevant to the issue of divorce. In the key position lies, on the one hand, the passage CD 13:14-18, the import of which can now better be ascertained with the help of the only recently published fragment 4QDa (4Q266). On the other hand, a closer reading of 11QT 57:17-18 together with some other relevant accounts from this document disclose that the passage's refutation of divorce is more apparent than real. Cet article propose d'évaluer comment et dans quelles conditions la question de divorce est reflétée dans CD 4:20-5:2 et 11QT 57:17-18. Le principe qui guide la recherche est une notion méthodologique selon laquelle avant de laisser 11QT clarifier le texte CD, qui supposemment est plus obscur, les deux passages doivent être traités singulièrement et dans le contexte des documents respectifs. En se tenant à cet ordre dans le traitement des deux textes leur rôle par rapport à la question du divorce est mis en question. D'un côté, dans la position clef se situe le passage CD 13:14-18, dont l'importance est maintenant mieux reconnue grâce à la publication de 4QDa (4Q266). De l'autre côté, une lecture approfondie de 11QT 57:17-18 parallèlement à d'autres récits d'intérêt dans ce document, révèle que la manière dans laquelle le passage conteste le divorce est plus apparente que fondée dans le texte. |
