Description
Summary:After a presentation of the classical diachronic views on the composite character of Exod 7,14-11,10, especially with respect to the interpretation of P either as 'source' or as 'redaction' (§ I), this contribution aims at describing the main results of the author's redaction-historical analysis of the 'Plague Narrative' and, focusing on the crucial role of a comprehensive understanding of the concept of 'redaction', at confronting it with classical diachronic research into Exod 7-11 (§ II).
