Le De Resurrectione vient confirmer l'idée d'un homme attaché à la Bible comme parole de Dieu, et dont la culture profane peut être teintée par le moyen-platonisme de son temps. The attribution of the De Resurrectione to Justin Martyr is not only reasonable, but also plausible; it enriches our knowledge of this Christian front the Second Century. There is no opposition between the fideist apologist of this treaty, and the rationalist apologist and polemist of the Dialogue with Triphon. The De Resurrectione reinforces the image of a man devoted to the Bible as the Word of God, and whose profane background may be reminiscent of the middle-platonism of his time. |
