Loin de confirmer ces approches, une saine lecture et une restauration objective du fragment ne permettent pas d'exclure une interprétation historicisante et collective, même si l'hypothèse messianique est aussi possible, ainsi que nous l'avions déjà proposé. Cette mise au point du texte nous paraît essentielle à sa juste interprétation. The latest studies of the fragment of an Aramaic apocalypse have proposed an interpretation of the eschatological figure either as the son and successor of the Jewish, probably Hasmonean, king of the vision, or as an angelic saviour, or as the King-Messiah, totally excluding a historicising and collective interpretation of this passage, and consequently a negative one for this eschatological figure. Far from confirming these approaches, a sound reading and an objective restoration of the fragment do not permit the exclusion of a historicising and collective interpretation, even if a messianic hypothesis is also possible, as we have already proposed. This updating of the text seems basic to us for its true interpretation. |
