Description
Summary:The PsJerome "Commentarius in Evangelium secundum Marcum" has been neglected. For almost a thousand years, while taken as Jerome's, it enjoyed widespread popularity and greatly influenced the history of exegesis. It can now be identified as the first Markan commentary; Victor of Antioch's work is only a "catena".
