La publication ici, de résultats d'analyses par activation neutronique, corroborant l'hypothèse chypriote, est l'occasion de remarques sur la fonction, la fabrication et l'évolution morphologique de cette famille de grands vases importés en Palestine. The loop-handle amphoras from Tell Keisan, in 1980, have been described and analysed according to the physico-chimic process. Their most probable proveniance was Cyprus. The following publication of recent neutronicactivation analysis, reinforcing the Cypriot origin hypothesis, is the occasion for remarks on function, fabrication and morphologic evolution of these imported items. |
