Description
Summary:John 2:13-22 is the product of a long tradition. It is sometimes thought to be misplaced in the Fourth Gospel. A narrative critical reading of the text suggests that its canonical form and its present place in the text portray "the Jews" as failing in faith, and point the reader towards an eventual experience of true faith, based on the Scripture and the word of Jesus.
