| Summary: | In RdQ 13 (1988) 45ff, Devoran Dimant and John Strugnell published two samples of a very extensive Hebrew apocalypse; the rest of the fragments of this work will shortly appear in DJD. Mr. Kister here corrects two readings and demonstrates that one of the passages was cited as from "another prophet" by the anti-jewish Epistle of Barnabas, and the second passage seems also to have been known to Barnabas. Many consequences may follow, the most certain of them is that the famous "Christian" passage quoted in Barnabas 12:1 is in fact Jewish, and pre-Christian. Dans RdQ 13 (1988), pp. 45 ss, Devoran Dimant et John Strugnell ont publié deux échantillons d'une très vaste apocalypse hébraïque ; les fragments qui en subsistent seront prochainement publiés dans DJD. M. Kister rectifie ici deux lectures ; il démontre que l'un de ces passages est cité, comme tiré d'un « autre prophète », par l'Épître anti-juive de Barnabé, et que le second passage semble avoir été aussi connu de Barnabé. Entre autres conséquences, il en résulte que le fameux passage « chrétien » cité dans Barnabe 12:1 est certainement, en fait, juif et pré-chrétien. |
