On explique pourquoi l'oracle nationaliste et anti-édomite du Ps 60 est repris dans le Ps 108 à la suite du prélude théophanique emprunté à la seconde partie du Ps 57. C'est un exemple caractéristique de l'activité psalmique des Lévites-chantres, soucieux de suppléer, à l'époque du second Temple, à la disparition progressive de la grande prophétie. The analysis of the « historical » title and of the two parts of Ps.60 enable us to see « Davidic » rereading of this Psalm — a phenomenon which is also found in others parts of the Psalter — and the stylistic and mnemotechnic procedures which facilitate the memorization of the text. We explain why the nationalistic, anti-Edomite oracle of Ps.60 is taken up again in Ps.108, after the theophanic introduction borrowed from the second part of Ps.57. It is typical example of the psalmic creativity of the Levitic cantors, in the second Temple periode, who were eager to fill in for the gradual disappearance of the great prophecy. |
