Le prétendu monothéisme des Sages égyptiens est un hénothéisme : le culte de Thot, leur dieu suprême. In the Wisdom of Any, pa neter points also to Thot. This impression is confirmed by the advice that Any's son gives to his father to tell the god who gave him wisdom (Thot): "Set them (the uneducated people) on your way (the way of god = the way of Thot), an expression that came from the Teaching of Khety, son of Duauf". The so-called monotheism of the Egyptian Sages is in fact a henotheism, the worship of Thot, their supreme god. |
