| Summary: | The article describes a new paradigm of body-understanding that is a pure space of projection while the projected body will never fulfill what the projection - because of its emptiness - promises. The self-understanding of the trans-sexual person is based on this virtual dimension of body-understanding. Even the neuro-scientific explanation of transsexuality supports this virtual transformation of the human body. This paper focuses on this metaethical view which also reveals a theological framework for evaluating trans sexuality in a normative way. |
