| Resumo: | Apocalyptic revolts led by 'Alid groups, named ghulāt by Muslim heresiographers, had a deep impact on the first three centuries of Islam. However, depictions of these groups found in late 3rd/9th century heresiographies erase this apocalyptic dimension. Through a critical study of the representation of 'Alid groups in early Muslim heresiography, this article therefore approaches heresiography as the location of a rewriting process of early Islamic memory. Les révoltes apocalyptiques des groupes 'alides, nommés ghulāt par les hérésiographes musulmans, marquent profondément les trois premiers siècles de l'islam. Pourtant, les descriptions de ces groupes dans le corpus hérésiographique de la fin du iiie/ixe siècle effacent cette dimension apocalyptique à travers divers procédés. À partir d'une étude critique de la représentation des groupes 'alides dans l'hérésiographie musulmane ancienne, cet article propose dès lors d'approcher l'hérésiographie comme lieu d'une réécriture de la mémoire musulmane des premiers siècles. |
