Yet the "Complaintes", spiritual folk-songs in a narrative prose descend from this Church. The psalter of Geneva dominated in singing while the stock of songs has been determinated strongly by the "awakening"-movement during the 19th century. The present hymn-book keeps its position between various traditions. |
