Description
Summary:This essay gives a summary of a widely larger exegetic study concerning the problems of Hebr. After having been acquainted with some special peculiarities the reader learns that Hebr can not be regarded being the "missing link" between the worship of the Old Testament and early Christian liturgy; against the conception of a 'heavenly worship' in Hebr the author emphasizes the 'earthly' reality of what is testified about Jesus and his community. From the capital text 12, 18 sq and chapt. 13 he gains characteristic features of the vision of worship and of the Lord's supper in Hebr.
