Summary: | When dom R. Weber edited the commentary of Ambrose Autpert on the Apocalypse (CC CM 27), he did not know of the ms. Benevento, Bibl. cap. 9. This copy of the beginning of the 9th century in Beneventan script is close to the author in time and space. It should have been an outstanding witness, but it is not. The article easily proves it, particularly by the variant readings in the commentary of Apoc. 7,5-7. |
