Manuel Gil’s own biography is an attempt at synthesis between both worlds, that of practice and that of the University, based on the conviction shared with the author of this article that it is necessary to improve the quality of professional intervention, by means of a well-honed deontology as befits a liberal and board-certified profession as a way to achieve greater dignity of social work professionals and of the people who request their services. | ||
