Summary: | The aim of this paper is to identify if there are differences in the psychological adjustment of siblings of children with Down Syndrome, Autism and a control group. In addition, it will analyse whether variables such as socioeconomic status, sex, degree of behavioural problems of the sibling with disability, order in the fraternal hierarchy and the perception of the quality of their relationship, affects the strengths and difficulties of siblings without disabilities. For this purpose, two questionnaires were used, the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) and the behavioural problems scale of the Inventory for the Planning of Services and Individual Programming (ICAP). |
