Summary: | Michael Walzer is one of the most important political philosophers of the second half of the 20th century. A critic of the Modern rationality, he has been one of the most important adversaries of philosophers such as Rawls or Habermas. This article tackles the question of what he calls “Complex Identity”, namely, his hypotheses of a theory of justice that may allow, from liberal premises, to make room for both religious and ethnic difference. |
