| Summary: | In Criminology, the idea of control focuses on educating the social individual from birth onward in order for him or her to have an appropriate and non-criminal behavior. This new approach advances the idea of exterminating crime as a final goal in courts and prisons. The utopian objective of eradicating criminality is substituted by another more realistic one of controlling it to the greatest extent, assuming its inevitability. Prevention does not focus on crime from the legal point of view, but rather as a natural crime synonymous of rational criminality and which has to be tackled previously. El control se ciñe en la Criminología en educar al individuo social desde su nacimiento en una conducta adecuada y no delictiva. Este nuevo planteamiento se adelanta a la idea de exterminar el crimen como meta final en los juzgados y las cárceles. El utópico objetivo de erradicar la criminalidad definitivamente se sustituye por otro mucho más realista de controlarlo en la mayor medida posible, asumiendo su inevitabilidad. La prevención no focaliza el crimen desde el ámbito jurídico, sino como un delito natural que presenta sinonimia con la criminalidad racional y que ha de ser atajado previamente. |
