| Summary: | This paper has been developed from the doctoral thesis entitled Emotionaland Cognitive Determinants of Maternal Responses when ConflictiveInteracting with their Children (Zurdo, 2011). Said research was carried outwith mothers from Cusco (Peru) and their children. Two scales are proposed designed to measure maternal perceived self-efficacy and maternal supportive attitude: Both elements are essential to mother-child interactions because of their interconnection as well as with critical factors for raising and educating children with in the family environment. These instruments are offered to readers given their potential usefulness to the professional practice and as steps for further research and also because the results obtained from the statistical analysis may conceptually enrich the underlying constructs. Este artículo se ha desarrollado a partir de la tesis doctoral titulada Determinantes Emocionales y Cognitivos de las Respuestas Maternas en la Interacción Conflictiva con los Hijos (Zurdo, 2011). Dicha investigación se llevó a cabo con madres de Cusco (Perú) y sus hijos. Aquí se proponen dos escalas para medir autoeficacia materna percibida y actitud de soporte materno, dos elementos clave de la interacción madre-hijo por sus relaciones entre sí y con aspectos cruciales de la crianza y educación de los hijos en el entorno familiar. Los instrumentos se ofrecen al lector dada su utilidad potencial en la práctica profesional y en la investigación y porque los resultados que se obtienen a partir del análisis de los ítems enriquecen conceptualmente los constructos subyacentes. |
