Sostiene varias afirmaciones: es una potencia del alma humana; activa al posible; abstrae las especies inteligibles de los fantasmas produciendo las especies impresas en el intelecto posible; no es formalmente cognoscitivo; se distingue realmente del posible por el objeto. Pero según su naturaleza es disputable que se distinga virtual o realmente de aquél. Las primeras son de impronta tomista, mientras que la última es de cariz escotista. | ||
