| Summary: | This article seeks to describe the situation of the Cristian communities in those countries visited by Saint Francis Xavier in his misssionary travel towards Asia. The main goal is to find ou the traces of his legacy almost five Centuries later his travel. Nowadays, not only the situation of the Christian communitiesis far from being better, but also their life conditions are worsen day after day. Esta reflexión busca establecer la situación que viven los cristianos en aquellos países que visitó san Francisco Javier en su viaje misionero hacia Asia. El principal objetivo es analizar su legado cuando se acerca el V Centenario de su viaje a Asia. En la actualidad la situación de algunas zonas en las que predicó san Francisco Javier no sólo no ha mejorado sino que ha empeorado complicandolas condiciones de vida de los cristianos que allí habitan. |
