| Summary: | This article outlines the connections between the philosophical system of Gendlin, philosopher, psychotherapist and the creator of focusing, with the perennial philosophy postulates. It also presents the closest philosophical and psychological antecedents that shaped the Gendlin’s system: phenomenology, existentialism and Carl R. Roger’s contributions. It finally establishes resemblances between the postulates of the Philosophy of the Implicit and some newer hypothesis of the contemporary science. Este artículo esboza las conexiones del sistema filosofíco de Eugene Gendlin, filósofo y psicoterapeuta introductor del focusing, con los postulados de la filosofía perenne. Presenta además los antecedentes filosóficos y psicológicos más cercanos que han configurado el sistema de Gendlin: la fenomenología, el existencialismo y las aportaciones de Carl R. Rogers. Por último establece similitudes entre los postulados de la filosofía de lo implícito y algunas de las hipótesis más novedosas de la ciencia contemporánea. |
