Summary:Alfred Dedo Müller is widely known as a religious socialist. But the many sides of his work conceal the fact that in his 1937 book {! Ethics} he expressed clear sympathies for the claims of National Socialism. This article presents, and reflects upon, a number of new documents in the Müller case. It also offers a glimpse of the cirucmstances and motives which lay behind Müller's Nazi sympathies. The documents are supplemented by the memories of Müller's son, Norbert Müller.
